OMG... I can't believe that there are people out there, who actually pretend to be handicapped, just so they can pawn their dogs off as Service Dogs; so the dogs can accompany them to restaurants and other public places where dogs are not allowed, unless they are Service Dogs. There are no words to properly describe these people. What they're doing is horrendous, unconscionable, and the ultimate disrespect for those people who legitimately need Service Dogs.
It's not a joke, it's not funny at all. It's the epitome of WRONG. I'm sitting here, shaking my head as I write, because I can't get over the fact that people actually commit such a heinous act. I can go on and on about how wrong this is, but I would need hundreds of pages... and then some.
All I can say is "SHAME ON YOU". Where is your compassion, where is your heart, where is your respect of those less fortunate than you?
Currently, its a misdemeanor in many states, if someone uses their dog to impersonate a Service Dog... but it's obviously not dissuading these people. We need better laws, in ALL states.

A trained service dog would NEVER:
a. Bark in public, except on command b. Be aggressive toward other dogs or people c. Eat off a table in a restaurant
d. Ride inside a shopping cart
e. Be dressed in an unprofessional manner.
